2010 PEACEJAM NORTHEAST YOUTH CONFERENCE: The 2010 PeaceJam Northeast Youth Conference will be held on March 27-28 at the University of Hartford, in Hartford, CT. Hundreds of PeaceJammers in 8th through 12th grade will join Adolfo Perez Esquivel for a life-changing weekend, exploring issues of peace and social justice as we focus on Adolfo's Global Call to Action area, Breaking the Cycle of Violence. Participants will be inspired by Adolfo's courageous struggle for fundamental human rights and true democracy in Latin America, perform hands-on service projects in the surrounding community, attend thought-provoking and skill-building workshops, and present their Glboal Call to Action projects to Adolfo and their peers. Conference registration fees are $125 for the weekend, including food, but excluding accomodations.

2009 PEACEJAM NORTHEAST SLAM: The 2009 PeaceJam Northeast Slam was held on November 14th. Evan Greer, an activist and musician facilitated an interactive exploration of how we must address issues of social justice, economic justice, and environmental justice to create sustainable peace in our communities and the world. Participants also attended one of a series of thought-provoking workshops, and groups shared the results and learnings from last year's Global Call to Action projects, providing information and ideas about how they addressed the issues of the Global Call to Action in their communities.
